Dedicated to music of the 20th and 21st centuries, Arc Duo launched its 'Commissioning Project' in 2004. The Project receives significant support from The Diller-Quaile School of Music, where Arc Duo is ensemble-in-residence.
Since 2004 the Arc Duo has consistently introduced virtuosic, new repertoire for the ensemble-type to audiences. To date, Judah Adashi, Roland Dyens, David Leisner, Shafer Mahoney, Duncan Neilson and David Schober have dedicated exceptional works to Arc Duo. In the coming year, scores are eagerly expected from Edie Hill and Reiko Fueting.
Sound clips of the Commissioning Project collection are coming soon. Below are some images of the manuscripts received.
'Traveling Sonata' by Roland Dyens
'Songs of Kabir' by Judah Adashi
'Romances' by Duncan Neilson
